Is rocket science really all that difficult? This introductory course will take you through some of the basics of why rockets fly including: aerodynamics, propulsion, design, and what it takes to be an astronaut. Be prepared for quick dive into each area, with plenty of fun practical work too.

Tutor

Myles Thompson  is currently teaching physics at The Perse and with a master’s degree in Engineering, he enjoys the practical side of science the most. An Old Persean, Myles is well-versed in the Summer School routine and looks forward to returning for another year!
