Poetry Powers – If you love words and writing then this is the course for you. We will be reading, writing, creating, exploring, devouring, and performing poetry of all shapes and sizes. We will delve into the world of poetry and bring our words to life, learning how much fun can come from shaping language and celebrating words.

Tutor

Charlie Bown has taught every age group from Early Years to adults. She has a degree in Drama: Theatre, Film and Television from The University of Bristol and a PGCE from The University of Cambridge. She is a teacher and children’s author and has recently published a new poetry anthology. Charlie is delighted to be back at The Perse Summer School again this year.
