Cost £225

This course is for budding pianists who would like to develop their playing and meet other enthusiastic pianists to work on piano duets. Musicianship in the form of musical games and singing is part of the learning. There will be a concert at the end of the week where children will get to perform their duets and some solo pieces if they would like as well.

This course is not for beginners. Any child below grade 4 piano should contact us before booking to check suitability of the course.

Course Tutors

Mark Fielding has been teaching for the Perse School for 11 years. He is part of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama staff, teaching piano duets for many years and one-to-one teaching. He has a broad knowledge of the duet repertoire and has performed piano duets with his father since 11 years old.

Siu Chui Li has been teaching at The Perse for 15 years. She graduated from the Guildhall School of  Music and Drama, followed by postgraduates in Chamber Music and Advanced Performance at the Royal College of Music. She has performed in many countries throughout Europe and the UK. As a child Siu spent many an hour playing duets with her younger sister and this time gave her a great love of the music and the joy of playing in ensembles.
