Don’t raise your voice: improve your argument! This skills workshop aims to help improve your public speaking and debating skills. You will learn about ways to enhance the clarity of your oral communication, as well as the power of your gesture and body language. You will practise both public speaking and debating through activities designed to get you communicating clearly in both scripted and spontaneous scenarios.

Tutor Profile

Jacob Jeffries joined the Perse in September 2019 as a Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies teacher. He previously gained a BA in Philosophy from the University of Leeds and proceeded to gain an MSc also in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh.
