Portraits have been recorded by artists throughout history and across the world in a vast variety of media and styles. This course aims to inspire your creative practice with a knowledge of some of arts most influential portraits and will introduce you to a variety of drawing and painting techniques. You will have the opportunity to explore different artistic styles and to create your own self portrait through the medium of painting and drawing on your very own canvas

Tutor Details

Charlotte Stuart joined The Perse School art department in January 2021 having worked as Head of Art at an all-through school in Hertfordshire. Charlotte graduated with a first-class degree from the University of Brighton in Three-Dimensional Materials Practice and is passionate about fine art and arts and crafts.
