Course Details

Cost: £221

This Paddlesport course is aimed at all budding young paddlers out there. The activities will focus on getting young people into paddling through games. This week will be based at Milton Country Park and will include: an introduction to canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and plenty of fun games!

All transport to and from Milton Country Park will be provided.

Tutor Profile

Dave Janes Jnr is a highly experienced kayaker and canoeist with many years of experience leading trips in the UK and abroad. He currently provides British Canoeing courses to other aspiring watersport coaches and delivers a wide range of expeditions for school groups and university students.

Dave Janes Snr is an experienced paddler and mountaineer and a former member of the Great Britain Canoe Slalom Team. He has just retired from the Fire Service as a Station Commander after 31 years’ service. In 2018 he led an expedition as senior river leader for British Exploring Society to the Yukon, Canada.

Both Daves work regularly with Perse expeditions, and were leaders in the Summit 11 expedition to Sweden in June 2019.
