Each time you prepare a meal, stunning scientific processes are happening right in front of your eyes. Yet, most people don’t realise that harnessing our understanding of chemistry can help us create delicious meals. In this course, you will develop your scientific observation skills as we investigate the chemical processes that occur everyday in the kitchen. You will also get to prepare tasty treats and will have a collection of recipes to take away with you.
Sophie Jones is a Chemistry teacher at The Perse and relishes any opportunity to be in the kitchen. She particularly enjoys baking sweet treats to share with her friends and family and is excited to share her love of cooking with her students.
Will Miller is also a chemistry teacher at The Perse. In addition to his love for geology, he loves cooking for others and has a penchant for bread-making.
