Age 11-14

Students will use a range of computer aided design and manufacture techniques including the laser cutter and 3D printing, in conjunction with traditional graphics, hand drawing and layout techniques to create their own table top games. They will be tasked with creating every element of the game including rules, characters, counters and format.

Tutor Details

Nic Mainiero is the Head of Design Technology at The Perse and has spent 14 years delivering a wide range of design and technology courses. Before that he worked in industry as a product and graphic designer and has a board spectrum of experience from working with the national theatre to campaigns for multinational businesses.

Josie Rogers has a Fine Art degree from the Cambridge School of Art and specialises in printmaking, photography, graphics and 3D work. Her work has been shown in a number of group exhibitions and she has been working as an Art Technician for over 10 years – she is currently working at The Perse.
