Children will cover a range of cricket based skills and techniques to develop all principles of the game and will also be better equipped for match play. Hardball and softball provisions will cater for everyone’s needs and development.
Tutor Profile
Daniel Nicholes is a passionate and enthusiastic sportsman. He is Head of PE, boys’ cricket and football at The Perse Prep school. Daniel is a professional sports coach with qualifications in football, cricket, rugby, netball and gymnastics and he currently holds an ECB Level 2 qualification.
David Bennett obtained a BA in Classics from Durham University before going on to do a PGCE and MEd at Cambridge. He has taught at The Perse since 2016 and is currently Head of Lower Sixth. He fell in love with cricket at school and has been playing ever since. He has been involved in coaching since he was 17.
Sophia Abbasi received her BA in History, and MA in Early Modern History, from the University of Warwick, and is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at The Perse Prep, helping out in a variety of lessons, from English and history, to games and DTE.
Jacob Butler has been a sports coach for a number of years and holds qualifications in football, dodgeball, netball, and delivering primary school PE. He is part of the PE and games department at The Perse Prep school and is a passionate and avid sportsman. He enjoys participating in all sports and being part of a team.
