Creative Writing 101 – Week 1
Cost: £193 (Early-Bird: £174)
How many times have you started writing a novel only to give up after the first chapter? Are you keen to have a go at writing a short story but don’t really know where to begin? Would you like to just improve the quality of your writing and avoid many of the pitfalls which plague aspiring
novelists around the world? If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes’, then this course is for you.
Sessions will explore basics of plot structure, characters and description, in order to give you the confidence to write interesting creative pieces for a variety of purposes and audiences. Through a series of active and multimedia approaches, you’ll learn to develop your writing style and maybe even finish off that novel.
Classroom based courses will be limited to a maximum of 12 pupils. Pupils will be socially distanced within the classroom and will be asked to bring their own personal equipment. Pupils will sit at the same desk each day, and any ICT equipment will be labelled so the pupils use the same device all week. Classrooms will be supplied with antiseptic wipes for any shared equipment.
