Chinese Traditional Watercolour Painting

This course gives students an introduction of Chinese traditional water colours and a comparison study between Eastern art and Wester art. Students will learn the materials and practice how to apply these materials to achieve the basic samples of Chinese art.

Tutor Profile

Sarah Li obtained her degree in Second Language Acquisition at Guangxi Teachers Education University and completed her MA in Phonology, Applied Linguistics at the University of Essex. She joined The Perse in 2019 and teaches Chinese. Sarah continues to enjoy Chinese traditional water paints, Chinese calligraphy and cooking in her spare time.

Josie Rogers has a Fine Art degree from the Cambridge School of Art and specialises in printmaking, photography, graphics an 3D work. Her work has been shown in a number of group exhibitions and she has been working as an Art Technician for 10 years. Josie is currently working at The Perse.
