An Introduction to Printmaking – Week 3

Age: 11-14


Cost: £180 (Early-Bird: £162)

This short course in creative print-making will introduce you to a variety of specialist techniques including mono printing, dry point etch and lino cutting. You’ll receive expert individual guidance on technical aspects of their work as well as creative input and direction. The course will allow you to create unique, beautiful designs and images and build confidence in new areas of printmaking. Hopefully, you’ll bring out your creative side and will have a hand-made book of prints of take home at the end of the week!

Covid-19 Update

In order to try and manage the risks in this course, pupils will have their own ‘area’ with a basket of equipment which won’t have to be shared, any equipment which must be shared will be wiped down with antiseptic wipes when there is a change of user and any large equipment will be operated by the tutor/assistant tutors and regularly wiped down with antiseptic wipes.

Tutor Profile

Josie Rogers has a Fine Art degree from the Cambridge School of Art and specialises in printmaking, photography, graphics and 3D work. Her work has been shown in a number of group exhibitions and she has been working as an Art Technician for 10 years- she is currently working at The Perse.
