Amazing Authors! Grab a pen and your imagination, then get ready to have a great week! On this course you will be writing your very own short story – complete with front cover, blurb and illustrations. We will have fun planning, drafting, writing and editing our work. We will use drama games to help us really understand our characters and have the opportunity to share our work with one another – you will have a brilliant time and will be able to take home an awesome, original story to share with family and friends at the end of the week.

Tutor Profile

Charlie Bown has taught every age group from Early Years to adults. She has a degree in Drama: Theatre, Film and Television from The University of Bristol and a PGCE from The University of Cambridge. She is a teacher and children’s author and has recently published a new poetry anthology. Charlie is delighted to be back at The Perse Summer School again this year.
