In this course, we will be exploring all aspects of drama. We will be engaging with a range of drama games and exercises which will develop teamwork and performance skills. There will be opportunities for script work, improvisation, devising, mime and much more! This course is for anyone willing to give drama a go, and have fun working with others.

Course Tutor

Jonathan Black is currently completing a degree in Geography at the University of Cambridge. He has had an interest in theatre and performing arts since a young age, and recently has directed and produced productions in Cambridge, London and Edinburgh. Formerly President of the Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club he is passionate about theatre both on and off the stage. An Old Persean, Jonathan is a familiar face at Summer School who is excited to be starting a career in teaching later this year.

Clare Cassidy has a BA Hons degree in Theatre Studies from Bath Spa University and is currently Head of Drama at The Perse Prep. She has a passion for theatre and drama, believing it is a subject where people can be creative and express themselves beyond the stage.
