TUTORS: David Barrett, Helen Duckhouse

Join us for a five-day musical theatre experience

Back by popular demand after two sold-out summer schools (Honk! Jr and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), join us for an exciting five-day theatre experience, as we bring The Wizard of Oz to life on stage. Students aged 8–14 will spend the week rehearsing and performing a fully staged production, culminating in a performance in the state-of-the-art Peter Hall Performing Arts Centre at The Perse.

Led by the same Perse Creative Team behind Frozen, Harry Potter and the Perse Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA), this immersive course develops skills in acting, singing and choreography while working together as a company. It’s a busy, practical and rewarding week that builds confidence, creativity and a strong sense of ensemble.

This is a full-day course running over five days, so students should come ready to rehearse and perform - comfortable clothing and shoes essential.
Book early to avoid disappointment.

We want children to feel comfortable, confident and ready to move. Please bring a named water bottle, wear clothing that is easy to move in and trainers.

Friends and family can come in to watch the final production on Friday afternoon if they wish and will be contacted near the time with details.

David is very much looking forward to this year's Summer School production following last year's hugely successful The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
