Discover and learn history by all horrible means!

In this course, students will engage with historical themes and events through exciting new means.  Using creative methods such as games, drama, roleplay, songs, story-telling and more, we will bring history to life and find fun ways to engage with the past. This course will offer the opportunity to develop collaborative, creative and research skills, while also extending depth of historical knowledge, understanding and appreciation.

Thomas Cox

Thomas Cox holds a History degree from Robinson College, Cambridge and teaches History and Drama at the Perse. He served as the president of the Robinson-based Brickhouse theatre society and as a theatre and culture editor for the Cambridge branch of the Tab student newspaper. He is committed to using creative methods such as theatre, culture and games to both develop key skills of communication, teamwork, leadership and confidence among young people as well as supporting with their learning, particularly in relation to his passion for history.
